Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How do I reset my password?
    • Tap Forgot Password on the sign-in screen and enter your email. You’ll receive a reset link within a few minutes.
  2. Can I change the displayed company logo?
    • Yes. In the Admin portal, go to Settings → Branding and upload your new logo (PNG or JPEG, max 2 MB).
  3. Why am I seeing a “Server Unreachable” error?
    • This usually means the MySQL server can’t be reached. Check your internet connection, then try again in 30 seconds. If the problem persists, contact support.
  4. How do I back up my customer data?
    • Data is stored on your MySQL server. Consult your database administrator for backup procedures. We recommend daily automated dumps.
  5. Who can access my customers’ sign-in data?
    • Only your authorized users. TEOLAWKI LLC does not access or share your customer records.

Troubleshooting Guides

1. Unable to Sign In

  1. Verify you’re using the correct email and password.
  2. Confirm your user account is still active in the Admin portal.
  3. Restart the app and try again.
  4. If it still fails, take a screenshot of the error and email it to support@teolawki.com.

2. Forgot Admin PIN

  1. In the Admin portal, click Forgot PIN.
  2. A one-time code will be emailed to the account owner’s address.
  3. Enter that code and set a new PIN.

3. App Crashes on Launch

  1. Ensure you have the latest version installed from TestFlight or your distribution channel.
  2. Restart your device.
  3. If crashes persist, note the exact error message and send a crash log (if available) to support@teolawki.com.

Getting Started with TEOLAWKI Customer Sign-In App

Place the device at your front desk and let customers sign in!

Install & Launch

Download the app from your distribution link.

Open and accept the Terms of Service.

Configure Your Location

Log in with your Admin credentials.

Go to Settings → Locations to add or edit facility details.

Add Employees

Navigate to Staff Management.

Click + Add Employee, fill in name, email, role, and save.

Customize Sign-In Fields

Under Form Settings, choose which demographic fields to collect (e.g., name, date of birth, phone).

Go Live

From the Home screen, tap Enable Sign-In Kiosk Mode.
